reading and coffeesource

January completely flew by and I’ve been enjoying the mild weather we’ve had lately! Today is supposed to be in the high 40’s! I’ve been getting out for walks this week and the fresh air has been refreshing mentally in particular. My sister and I decided that fresh air and laughing are our favorite things in general but are also what can turn around a bad day. How about for you? This weekend will be quite full for Tom and I as we are spending both Saturday and Sunday getting our L1 cert for CrossFit. Tom is already certified and just attending to keep his current certification but this is something new for me. It’s something I’ve been wanting to do for quite some time and now that the cert has come to Madison, I couldn’t pass it by. It’ll be two full days but I hope it’s fun too! As you move into your Friday, here are a few things that I wanted to share with you. Enjoy!

reading…”The Bright Hour: a memoir of living and dying” by Nina Riggs and I currently have on hold at the library Brene Brown’s “Braving the Wilderness”, Fredrik Backman’s “Us Against You”, and Margaret Atwood’s “The Handmaid’s Tale”. What are you reading right now?

eating…Origin Meals. It’s a meal delivery service and they get delivered right to our CrossFit gym. We thought we would give them a try since sometimes we are sitting down to eat around 9 pm. I’ve been opposed to meal deliveries since they are astronomically priced and I just couldn’t justify it. However, there was a great deal going on and we got four meals for $40. So far they have been pretty tasty!

watching…”New Girl” from the beginning just for something funny and lighthearted and I’ve also checked out a few episodes of “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” with Jerry Seinfeld. I particularly liked the one with Jimmy Fallon. He’s just so likable. What are you watching?

looking forward to…the Super Bowl half-time show with Justin Timberlake. I’m not a football fan and I don’t really care about the commercials either, but I love a good performance so I can’t wait to see what’s in store. 🙂

loving…these 75 questions for cultivating self-awareness and this post on how to continue succeeding while feeling broken. So good.

Happy weekend to you!
