I’m Kelly and this is my little corner of the internet where I share my musings on being a health coach, personal trainer, full-time foodie, and amateur traveler. I love writing about the food that feeds my soul (ranging anywhere from traveling to new places, delicious recipes, CrossFit workouts, and finding comfort in the uncomfortable). I’m passionate about health and wellness and apply my Kinesiology degree, personal training, and holistic health coach certification to help others live a life they look forward to living.
I named my blog “Zest for Life” because it’s what I’m striving to achieve every day. I realized just how easy it is to go through the motions of daily life with no real passion for anything when I was in my early twenties. I was merely existing and not doing a whole lot of living. The twenties were a difficult decade indeed, but I plan on marching forth with hope, faith, and excitement for what’s next as I make my way into my thirties.
I have admired healthy living blogs for quite some time and reading them inspired my decision to quit my job and attain my certification as a Holistic Health Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I have been motivated to try new recipes, get out of my comfort zone, and look at life from a happier, healthier perspective. I hope that this blog can do the same for you too, if even only a little.
